Mary and David visited Hannah at Cal Poly to celebrate her birthday in San Luis Obispo and nearby Pismo Beach on a gloriously sunny February day. Hannah decided to apply to transfer to Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota and was accepted. We spent some time in Minnesota in the summer, visiting family and friends, taking a boat trip on the Mississippi and attending Sam and Marianne's wedding. We also took the opportunity to revisit the Macalester campus where, later in the summer, Hannah experienced another college Move-In Day, this time with grandparental assistance.
