This was a memorable year. Hannah turned 18 and received several offers of a university place. She narrowed her choice to two - UC Santa Cruz and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo - so we revisited those campuses, and Hannah chose Cal Poly. David is a teacher at Hannah's school and so was a chaperone at her prom and presented her diploma at her high school graduation ceremony. At the end of the summer, Move-In Day at Cal Poly was emotional for all concerned.
